Contact National Health Online

If you have questions about starting a consultation, using our AI Symptom Helper, working with our clinicians, or partnering as a pharmacy, you can reach us using the options below.

Start an online consultation

The safest and fastest way for patients to reach our clinicians is to submit a structured online consultation.

  • Secure online assessment
  • Reviewed by a UK-registered clinician
  • Electronic prescription where appropriate

Phone & video consultations

For some cases, clinicians may offer follow-up by telephone or secure video call, where clinically suitable.

  • Booked only where appropriate after triage
  • Used for clarifying history and examination
  • May be combined with image upload (e.g. rashes, wounds) where helpful

To request a call or video slot, please first complete an online consultation. If a live consultation is needed, the clinician will arrange this with you.

General enquiries & partnerships

For non-clinical questions, pharmacy partnerships or technical queries, you can contact our support team.

Image upload and remote assessment

For some conditions (for example, certain skin problems), clinicians may ask you to upload clear images via the secure consultation form. This helps them assess your symptoms remotely.

Emergencies and urgent problems

National Health Online is not an emergency service. If you have severe chest pain, difficulty breathing, heavy bleeding, new weakness of the face/arm/leg, sudden confusion, major injury or think your life may be at risk, call 999 or go straight to A&E.

For urgent but non-life-threatening problems, you can also contact NHS 111 or your GP practice.
